Sadly, we didnt dance too much... except when
my buddy Justin turned slayer all the way up in
the house at four in the morning. Haha, I think
he was the only one dancing the whole trip.
SURFING
AT T I T U D E
So, after searching 20 different spots because the
swell was being weird we finally found a great
outside break at S-turns in Rodanthe. The paddle
out was the hardest thing ever. We wouldn’t move
at all. Finally after 30 minutes, we finally made it
to the line up. It was alright, too much work haha.
We wanted to surf somewhere closer to the beach
so we headed a little further south from some
Inlet and surfed in front of a Dairy Queen. Best
barrels I’ve had in a long time. The wave would
bowel up and just dump. A real neck breaker but
it was great... until I snapped my brand new board.
So much fun. We had a solid crew. So many jokes
along the way and no one was a poor sport. Always
love scoring in the Outer Banks... nothing better.
