All four of us squeezed into an SUV... not the
most comfortable 5 hour drive but it worked and
was real cheap.
We had some really good beers at Justin’s
family’s house while we watched the
Presidential Election and cooked pizzas. Not
sure what the heck they were but I had 5 and
knew it was gonna be a rough morning.
SLEEP
DINE
When we go to the Outer Banks, we usually
sleep in our cars. But this time we had it made.
We slept in Justin’s family lake house... it was
sooooo nice! Everyone had their own bed, a
pool table, heat/AC, no bugs and a fridge full of
strange beers! It was so great, lot different from
the cars.
We had, I think, 5 pizzas to share between 4 of us
the first night, no breakfast the first morning except
one buddy got iced so he had to slam a Smirnoff Ice
before the paddle out. Lunch was gross warm turkey
sandwiches because we forgot ice for the cooler.
dinner was good ole’ Wendys of course!
We didnt do any grocery shopping really. We were
just too amped to surf the whole time so just worked
with what we had and got whatever was the fastest.
There for a good time, not a long time.
