GOING ABROAD TO V A L ENCIA, S P A I N WITH ZACHARY VALENTI T R AV E L DRINK I flew right from RDU to Atlanta. Atlanta to Paris. Paris to Valencia. Retuning home I left from Hossegor, France so I only had to go from Paris to Atlanta. Atlanta to Raleigh. MIA was definitely the best club in Valencia. Always good fun, especially because of all the different rooms with different music. I am not a big day drinker, but I had the biggest flat out of all my friends so they would all come over and pre-drink at my place before going to the clubs. The drink of choice over there is definitely Gin or Vodka. Gin Tonic and Vodka Limon (lemon Fanta) were my go to if I wasn’t drinking beer. J O U R N A L | P H O T O S : V A L E N T I SLEEP 128 I found a pretty nice flat near the river (the city diverted the river around town and they converted the old riverbed into this huge park that wraps around the city). Technically it’s the park, but everyone calls it the river and there is so much activity going on there throughout the year. My flat was nice and I had a double bed and a big space since it used to be a living room. The flat owner just stuffed a bed and a table in there and called it a room, hence why everyone was always drinking at my place. DANCE EVERYTHING. The clubs in Spain are ridiculous. Four different rooms each, with their own specialty of music such as EDM (really big in Europe), Hip Hop, Reggatone, and then Classics. The basic salsa dance is easy, its getting the advanced motions down that is hard.
