T R AV E L I N G T O P U ER T O R IC O WITH JACK MERRIFIELD T R AV E L We took a plane and then we rented a mini van and drove that from San Juan to Rincon. I was told not even to stop at the red lights. SLEEP The Dolphin Room. I forget the name of the actual building but the room was the dolphin room. I slept in a board bag every night. There was 6 of us to a king bed room with a couch... DRINK Medella light was the beer we drank because it was the cheapest beer. I dont’ remember the name of the bar but it was on the beach and Rincon. Actually scratch that, the best strip of bars was by the University. We were the only non Puerto Rican’s there and it was nuts, it was some big festival. WOMEN THEY LIKED US! I don’t know if they normally like foreigners, but they definitely liked us. This one night I was hanging out with a girl outside this bar...after this earthquake...after hotboxing our van. That was the night we locked ourselves out of our car because Mike fried the electric key in his pocket surfing and then Tommy drank a bunch of 151 Rum. Great night. H E R E & T H E R E 125
