FHGC The Family Golf League is designed to get more parents / guardians and juniors involved in the competitive side of the game , all while begin fun and enjoyable for both players . Junior Golf Clinic
Ages 5 - 16 years
FHGC The junior golf clinic has been formatted into a 4-day program . Juniors will learn the basic fundamentals as well as age appropriate skills of the golf swing , putting , chipping , basic golf course etiquette , rules , and on course play . Men ’ s Spring / Summer Softball League
Adults
KT Get your team together and compete in a recreational softball league . Games are played at Lions Park with game times at 7:00 pm and 8:00 pm . Each team will play each other twice . The league will finish with a single elimination tournament .
Information packets for the spring / summer league will be available at the Community Center by February 1 . A manager ’ s meeting is scheduled for Thursday , April 26 at the Lions Park fields at 6:30 pm prior to the first game starting .
Teams must be able to make all time slots available for play ; there are no requests for specific game times . For additional information , contact Katie Tarosas , Program & Facilities Manager at 847-639-6100 x 110 .

* Rosters are needed to assess whether a team is considered resident or non-resident ; 75 % of players need to reside within Cary Park District boundaries to be considered a resident team . Once this is assessed , the credit card given at registration and on file will be charged an additional $ 100 fee to non-resident teams .
St . Paddy ’ s Day Bags Tournament

KT See if you have the luck o ’ the Irish ! Come out for Cary Park District ’ s St . Paddy ’ s Day Bags Tournament . Grab your family , friends , and neighbors and compete in this one day double elimination tournament . This tournament is BYOB and the first place team will receive a cash prize .

Outdoor Winter Fun !
Even when the temperatures drop and snow has fallen , your parks are still great places for fun !
Ice Skating
Ice skating at Jaycee Park is a great outdoor experience ! When there has been several days of below freezing temperatures , Park District staff will clear the rink area and signage will beckon skaters . A warming shelter and restrooms are available at the park . The rink is lighted for evening skating and closes at 9:00 pm .
Sledding
Lions Park is excellent for sledding . When covered with snow , the park ’ s rolling hills offer great family fun . Park closes at dusk .
Cross Country Skiing
The grounds at Lions Park and Kaper Park are terrific for cross-country skiing . This is the perfect activity for winter exercise . carypark . com | 33
