T-Ball Programs

Introduce your child to America’s favorite pastime! Chil-
dren will run, catch, throw, and hit off a tee while releas-
ing energy and making friends. All children will receive
a T-shirt. Those enrolled in My-Tee-Ball and T-Ball will also
receive a hat. Each child will be placed on a team prior
to the first practice and should bring a glove. Teammate
request forms are available on our website carypark.com.

Nerf Elite Battle
Ages 7-13 years

Come experience this classic basement game in an are-
na style team game. Each week we will play many differ-
ent Nerf Elite battle games including an all-out battle. All
equipment provided. There will be a different theme every

Lifeguard Class
Coaches Needed
Do you have a passion for sports, experience coaching, and
enjoy working with children? If yes, we want you! The Cary Park
District is hiring experienced coaches for the Tiny T-Ball, My-Tee-
Ball, T-Ball, and Mighty Kickers programs. If you are interested
contact Erica Hall at 847-639-6100 x 117.
Age 15 & older (must be 15 by March 11)

The program provides entry level lifeguard candidates
with the skills and knowledge necessary to prevent, rec-
ognize, and respond to emergencies and to provide care
for injuries and sudden illnesses until advanced medical
personnel arrive. Students must be able to swim 300 yards
continuously demonstrating front crawl and breast stroke.
Students must also be able to swim and retrieve a brick
from the bottom of the pool and tread water for 2 minutes.
Students will be certified in standard first aid, CPR/AED,
and lifeguarding skills through the American Red Cross. This
is a certification course. All classes must be attended for
the entire length of time. Completion of the class does not
guarantee employment with the Cary Park District.
