Baton Twirling

Ages 6 - 18 years

LG Think you can twirl a baton ? Come give it a try ! In this class you will learn the basics of baton twirling in your fingers , tossing , different catches and dance moves to go along with the twirls . Learn dance / twirl , marching , one and two baton and rhythmic ribbon skills . Develop confidence , showmanship , coordination , and more . Learn a routine for parades and talent shows . Safe Sitter Babysitting Training Course

Ages 11 - 15 years

EH This course will provide the information and skills necessary for safe and responsible childcare in the absence of parents and guardians . Learn how to care for children , basic first aid , personal safety , injury and problem prevention , behavior management , and babysitting as a business . Children ’ s Yoga

Ages 6 - 12 years

EH This beginner level class will be a fun exploration of yoga focusing on the correct formation of poses and breathing techniques . Yoga promotes balance , coordination , concentration , and a positive , non-competitive form of exercise and community . It helps children reduce stress and anxiety as well as boost confidence and positive selfesteem . Each child should bring their own yoga mat . Yoga for Children with Special Needs

Ages 8 - 14 years

EH This class will focus on proper formation of yoga poses and breathing techniques , but with adaptations and adjustments to meet the needs of individual participants . Yoga helps promote body awareness and better body control , fosters connection to other people and the environment , builds confidence , self-esteem , focus , concentration , and reduces stress and anxiety . This class is best suited for children who can function independently , but parents are welcome to stay if they want to assist their child . Each child should bring their own yoga mat .
