T-Ball Programs

Basketball 101

Ages 3 - 7 years
EH
Introduce your child to America’s favorite pastime! Children will run, catch, throw, and hit off a tee while releasing energy and making friends. All children will receive
a T-shirt. Those enrolled in My-Tee-Ball and T-Ball will also
receive a hat. Each child will be placed on a team prior
to the first practice and should bring a glove. Teammate
request forms are available on our website carypark.com.

Ages 7 - 9 years

This beginner basketball class is designed to develop early
basketball skills such as shooting, dribbling and passing,
along with the basic rules of the game. Each class includes
instruction as well as structured games. This class is perfect
for the beginner looking to understand the game, learn
new skills, and “have a ball!” No class 2/20 and 3/27

This class continues to strengthen participant’s basic skills
of the game of basketball in addition to teaching participants some offensive and defensive aspects of the game
such as setting screens, proper defensive stance, and understanding concepts such as zone and man-to-man defense. No class 2/20 and 3/27

Dodgeball 101

Coaches Needed
Do you have a passion for sports, experience coaching, and
enjoy working with children? If yes, we want you! The Cary Park
District is hiring experienced coaches for the Tiny T-Ball, My-TeeBall, T-Ball, and Mighty Kickers programs. If you are interested

Our youth dodgeball class gives participants an opportunity to play the popular game in a safe and supervised
environment. The program uses super soft balls with the
safety of game play being an important factor. Each
week different teams will be formed and a different style
of dodgeball will be played. No class 3/29
