Fees :
Resident / Non-resident - The first program fees listed in the brochure are for Cary Park District residents . Non-resident ( NR ) fees are listed second and are the higher rate of the two . Fair Share - Those desiring to achieve resident status may pay their “ fair share ” of taxes based on the taxable value of their home . Some exceptions apply , please refer to the Fair Share Guidelines found in the Forms section of carypark . com .
The taxable value of a property is stated clearly on the tax bill . Fair share in not necessarily for everyone . This has to be determined by you , taking into consideration the frequency of Park District use and the value of your home .
The inquiring individual should provide a copy of their current tax bill to the Superintendent of Recreation for review . The Fair Share amount will be calculated and a written reply will be sent . If you don ’ t have a copy of your current tax bill , call your taxing township for your home ’ s taxable value .
