I'm sold. The new Discovery is everything you need it to be and much more. Official figures state that with the Sd4 engine, you can hit 13.3kmpl, and I did manage get better than in sections on the way back to Colombo (empty streets), which is impressive for something this size. I love the seats, which feel like you are in your favorite arm chair, at home, watching the scenery fly by. Not to mention all the fine tuning you can do climate control wise, and of course making sure you seat is as warm or as cool as you want it.

For those that love their tunes while they drive, you are in for a treat, the Meridian sound system delivers amazing sound quality with plenty of bass. The ride comfort is superb, the air suspen–sion flattens out the road, and since its adjustable, getting in and out of Discovery is a breeze. The number of optional extras does make things confusing, but I do recommend going for the HSE or HSE luxury versions over the standard version.

The New Land Rover Discovery blurs the line between off road and city, with an interior that emphasizes comfort and an performance that can take on any terrain, the new Discovery easily steps out of the shadows of its predecessor.
