McLaren Delivered its Very First Senna in North America

British luxury carmaker McLaren managed to deliver its very first McLaren Senna, a limited-production mid-engine sports car, to its buyer in the United States. The company already sold all 500 copies of the model, with the carmaker saying that roughly third were ordered by customers in North America. The very first Senna delivered comes with many custom features made possible by McLaren Special Operations.

The model was delivered to Michael Fux, a well-known car collector who lives in New York. A key personalised feature of this car is its Full Visual Carbon Fiber Body in an emerald green colour, named after its owner as Fux Green. The vehicle also includes blue and red wheel center lock nuts and ball polished wheels. The material used for interiors perfectly complements its white leather on the seats, dashboard, steering wheel, and doors. The carbon Black Alcantara headliner helps to further tame the bold green color. The McLaren Senna comes with a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V-8 engine ideal for 789 hp and 590 lb-ft of torque. McLaren claims that the upgraded power is enough to hit 60 mph in just 2.7 seconds. The Senna differentiates itself with a dry weight of 2,641 pounds and its ability to produce 1,764 pounds of down force at 155 mph.

At present, the Senna is priced at $958,966, through there is assumptions that it will actually cost more due to its plethora of customized features.
