Mission E
One of the biggest competitors to Tesla will come from the Porsche Mission E. The car will be out before 2020, and will have a range of almost 400 km, with the ability to charge 80% of its battery in just 15 mins.
While Tesla Motors has secured its place as the leading innovator of long-range electric vehicles, that title might not stay for long. A number of existing as well as new automakers have revealed that they will be releasing a range of new EV’s by 2020 that will have a range of 300 km or more. Most of these new vehicles are expected to be high-end luxury vehicles, which will put them in direct competition with Tesla.
