as they will go!
Carinya seeks to provide multiple opportunities for
students of all ages to explore their interests and abilities,
to stretch them as far they can go and encourage them to
enjoy the many ways in which they have been blessed by
the Lord Jesus.
Musicals
The school regularly stages well known musicals, including
‘Pirates of Penzance’, ‘Annie’, ‘The Sound of Music’, ‘Oliver’,
‘Joseph and His Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat’, ‘My Fair
Lady’, and ‘Beauty and the Beast’. Students of all ages and
abilities are welcome to participate and contribute as they
are able: in the cast or the orchestra, in sound and lighting,
or backstage helping with sets, costume and makeup.
Private Music Tuition
Private music tutors provide specialist music tuition in a
variety of instruments, for students from Year 2 to Year 12 in
a convenient and secure environment.
Choirs and Ensembles
Carinya offers students the opportunity to join a variety
of Concert Bands, Jazz Bands, Choirs and the School
Orchestra.
Sport
There are multiple opportunities for students, aged from
6 – 18 years, to be involved in weekly competitions in
a variety of sports including football, netball, cricket,
waterpolo, rugby union, hockey, oztag and basketball.
Carinya is affiliated with the Christian Schools Sports
Association (CSSA)
