How you can help Thank you Mobbs family A huge well done and thank you to the Mobbs family – dad Chris and sons Iain and Andrew, who took part in the Hever Castle triathlon last September. Each ‘Mobbster’ took on a different section of the triathlon and together they raised over £1,900! Kate Keays In a previous issue of Caring we told you about the swimming challenge Kate set herself for Carers UK’s 50th Anniversary year – swimming five lengths for every £1 donated. We’re delighted to report that Kate has now finished her challenge, raising over £500. In total she swam 2,525 lengths, which is over 100 kilometres – the distance from London to Brighton! Kate said: ‘As a very slow and inexperienced swimmer, this challenge was harder than I anticipated but one that was well worth the effort. Thank you Carers UK for the encouragement to take it on and achieve my goal!’ Well done Kate – now you can have a well-earned rest! We need you! Just a few words...
