What happens when I finish School ? It is government policy that students leaving Year 11 need to remain in learning until they are 18 .
What about the future ? It is essential that all young people get as much careers information , advice and guidance as possible . This is the only way to make suitable educational and employment decisions . Whether you are leaving Year 11 or Sixth Form , there are lots of options available to you . So :
Look at the School website and click on careers information . There is a wealth of information for young people and parents . Contact an independent Careers Adviser through the National Careers Service . You can do this online or telephone 0800 100 900 ( 8:00am to 10:00pm , 7 days a week . Talk with the family : what are your skills , interests and motivations ?
