Job Responsibilities
• Participate in steering the ship
• Assist with docking and anchoring maneuvers : handling lines , gangways , anchors , etc .
• Stand watches : gangway and deck watch , which includes security , maintenance , and guest assistance duties
• Load and unload guest luggage , ship stores , etc .
• Perform routine maintenance , painting , and cleaning
• Long hours - responsibilities every day , even early in the morning and late at night
