Research projects often lead to publishing and presentation opportunities as well. internships You are strongly encouraged to become involved in internship opportunities, even if your degree does not require it. Internships are designed to provide relevant, hands-on experiences with organizations and will give you opportunities to build relationships with others in your field as well. Many employers also use their past and current interns as a first step in the recruitment process to fill full-time positions. It is common to have two or more internships.
