AT THE MEETING
What To See at ACC.16
Innovative. Interactive. Informative. Interdisciplinary. These are the four principles at the center of all sessions at the ACC’s 65th Annual Scientific Session and Expo (ACC.16). The meeting will expand on last year’s successful “more learning, less lecturing” model, featuring a new [email protected]
studio, interactive question walls in the Lounge & Learn Pavilion, more session with audience response
system and question texting capability and redesigned session rooms that enhance interaction between
speakers, panelists and participants.
Due to an increase in abstract submissions, ACC.16 will feature more science, particularly in the interactive
moderated poster sessions and throughout the 12 learning pathways. This year, there will also be new “Intensive Programs,” deep-dive, half-day sessions on timely topics such as lifestyle medicine, women’s cardiovascular
health, precision medicine and professional development. Late-Breaking Clinical Trials will deliver the hottest
cardiovascular research and keynote lectures will cover a broad range of topics form experts in the field.
