After qualifying with KPMG in Scotland, he joined Willis (Guernsey) in 1990, and was promoted to Director in 1993. Later, whilst at Aon, Mr. Leighton was made managing director of the Aon owned Protected Cell Company “White Rock” the world’s first rent-a-captive to convert to a “cell captive”. Nick is recognised as one of the leading specialists in cell captives and he was instrumental in the formation of cell arrangements in White Rock for over 30 cell participants. Nick is also a Fellow of the Institute of Risk Management, and in 2000 he won the IAU Board of Governors prize for his dissertation on Protected Cell Companies. After leaving Aon in 2000, Nick became the managing director of Caledonian Insurance Services Limited in the Cayman Islands. He joined Atlas in 2006. Linda Haddleton Managing Director Kane Cayman T: +1 345 914 2261 E: inda.haddleton@kanel group.com Before joining Kane, Linda was Managing Director of HSBC Insurance Management in Cayman managing captive insurance companies and special purpose vehicles, having joined the company in 1987. Prior to this she worked for a major international accounting firm on the island, and before coming to Cayman spent two years with a major international accounting firm and one year in the financial services industry in Ireland. Linda is a member of the Executive Committee of the Insurance Managers Association of Cayman (IMAC), Chairperson of the Education Committee of IMAC, and Director of IMAC’s Scholarship Foundation. In addition, she is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland (FCA) and has a Bachelor of Commerce degree. 6 James Rawcliffe, a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England & Wales, has been Vice President for Sagicor Insurance Managers Ltd. since 2003, becoming its captive practice leader in 2009. He joined Sedgwick Management Services (Isle of Man) Ltd. in 1996 from a small accounting practice, followed by Marsh Management Services in Bermuda, and has served in the captive insurance industry in the Cayman Islands since 1999. James serves on the IMAC Marketing Committee and is a frequent contributor of articles in the captive press. Clayton Price Managing Director Marsh Management Services Cayman Ltd T: +1 345 914 5722 E:  layton.price@marsh. c com Clayton joined Marsh in 1978 and in 1998 returned to Marsh’s Captive Solutions practice in Bermuda where he served as the Director, Client Relations. In 1981, Clayton transferred to New York as a casualty account administrator responsible for the marketing of several Fortune 500 companies’ casualty programmes including pharmaceutical product liability for two significant manufacturers. In 1986, he became an assistant vice president and casualty account executive, and was transferred that year to the Atlanta office where he assumed responsibility for the office’s financial institution clients’ casualty programs and served as a financial institution resource servicing the southeastern region. In 1992, he was promoted to vice president, with responsibility for a team of property and casualty brokers handling a portfolio of clients, many being multinational corporations. In 1995, he was promoted to client manager. In March 2008, Clayton was promoted as the Cayman head of office and managing director the same year. Clayton received an MBA in 1985 from the College of Insurance, part of St. John’s University and a Bachelors of Science degree in business administration from the University of Tennessee in 1981. Clayton was the chairman of the Insurance Managers Association of Cayman from 2011 – 2012. As vice president of Cayman operations at USA Risk, Rob is responsible for a portfolio of clients and serves as a primary contact for Cayman clients and the Insurance Department of the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority. In addition, Rob serves as the liaison for offshore operations, ensuring consistency and compliance among the company’s offshore domiciles. Rob holds a B
