ENACTUS “I was telling a family member in Pretoria about the work that we do as Enactus, and she told me about Busi,” explains Makuwaza. “So I called Busi up and told her about what we do and she was very keen to meet.” Makuwaza brought the co-op to the attention of the UKZN Enactus team to which she belongs, and they saw immediately that the co-op’s ambitions fell squarely in line with their commitment to entrepreneur development projects that satisfy the triple bottom line: “people, planet, profit” The Enactus students . believed that they could help the Mophela co-op to move away from subsistence farming and become commercial, profitdriven farmers.
