Employability Festival: Programme of Events
ACCESS HOUR
Do you find the prospect of the Careers Fair daunting?
Do crowds make you feel anxious or are you concerned about physical access issues?
This year the Careers & Employability Service are adding an additional hour to the Careers Fair to give you extra
time and space to meet with employers and organisations in a less crowded environment before the main event
begins (of course you are welcome to stay for this too!).

YOUR FUTURE, ONE STEP AT A TIME
Thinking about your career path after
university or where to start when it comes
to employability can be a daunting
prospect. Especially if you are dealing with
mental health difficulties, including
anxiety, depression and stress. In order to
support your employability development
whilst at university, a range of small,
relaxed sessions will be running, which
address any concerns or questions
you may have surrounding employment.
Our sessions aim to offer:
• Employability advice in a supportive
environment – with refreshments!
• Informal small discussion groups with tailored
sessions to your employability needs
• Topics may include career planning, support
from your employer, CVs and applications
and your rights in the work place
• Option to receive one to one guidance
If you would be interested in finding out more about these sessions, please do get in contact:
