Acknowledgements
I want to thank most importantly the Lord Jesus Christ for his unfailing love, grace and mercy. In everything I do I give Him thanks! Without the Lord, I am nothing.
Caleb and Audrey – my beautiful children who bring a smile to my face every day! I want to thank them both for their love and support. I know they are used to seeing me in the kitchen and garden and often think “that’s just what mom does” so I want to thank you both for understanding my taking on a new role and encouraging me every step of the way. I work hard every day to be a good example to you both and your unconditional love and support mean more to me than words can express.
My mother. Without her strength, love and support I don’t know where I’d be in this life! Her teaching me to hold a paring knife in my hand at the wee age of three inspired my love and talent for all things food! Trucking us up north at a young age, yes – kicking and screaming – was the best thing in the world for me, making me the versatile, well-rounded person I am today. And, of course, I must thank my mother for having my sister and I watch our very first episode of The Golden Girls – which is a mainstay in my house to this day! Thank you for the many traditions you have passed down to me, which I will one day pass down to my children. You are priceless!
My sister and my family full of foodies!!! I must say I am so blessed to be born into such an amazing family! We are all blessed with artistic and creative abilities and we ALL share a love for food! But best of all, our love and laughter have created the fondest memories a person can have – and I look forward to many more years of love, laughter and fun with each one of you!!!
