In finance and banking, cash indicates the company's current assets, or any assets that can be turned into cash within one year. A business's cash flow shows the net amount of cash a company has, after factoring in both incoming and outgoing cash and assets, and can be a good resource for potential investors. A company's cash flow statement shows all incoming cash, such as revenue, and all outgoing cash, used to pay expenses such as equipment and investments. REVENUE

A good cannabis company should have revenue (excluding cannabis biotechs). Some cannabis companies forecast revenues and for too many reasons to name, never reach that goal. I put cannabis companies in two buckets. Bucket #1 is for long-term solid cannabis companies and bucket #2 is for short-term risky cannabis companies. Companies who are increasing revenues go in bucket #1 long-term solid cannabis companies. Revenues can be found on a company's income statement.

Revenue is the amount of money that is brought into a company by its business activities. Revenue is also known as sales, as in the price-to-sales ratio, an alternative to the price-to-earnings ratio that uses revenue in the denominator.
