Jeanine Moss is setting high standards for women in the Cannabis industry. Her aroma-controlled apparel for the sophisticated Cannabis user is creating a trend for the century! However, after learning her background, it’s understandable how this savvy business woman has brought style to the Cannabis industry.

Moss has lead a diverse career in marketing to include advertising, publishing, communication and more. In addition, she owned her own marketing firm where she had a wide range of clients from nonprofits to tourism to the government, just to name a few. Her keen and astute sense of business lead her to focus on new and emerging markets; concepts that haven’t been done before. For example, she advocated for the 9/11 fund, assisted in developing New York City tours as an up and coming city and promoted the dotcom boom. Therefore, as she saw the industry shift to Cannabis culture she naturally became intrigued.

Raised in California, Moss is no stranger to Cannabis. She had “always been a proponent and user of Cannabis believing in its empirical experience” while rejecting the gateway drug notion. Her call to action in the Cannabis industry came after she had to undergo hip surgery as she was prescribed many opioids for pain management. Unfortunately, she could not enjoy her time off or time spent with her daughter (as much as one can enjoy while recovering) due to an opioid fog which made it difficult to complete activities of daily living. To combat this she used Cannabis which helped to “eliminate some of the prescribed opioids and manage the pain for longer periods”. Eventually, she was off the opioids. However, this required her to carry cannabis with her in order to properly medicate leading to the creation of Annabis (pronounced Anna-bee), stylish, quality and functional apparel for the sophisticated Cannabis consumer.

While women comprise of much of the Cannabis industry and users, Moss states “until you stand step out front, your needs will not be met. Women place a greater emphasis on safety and feeling secure. I do not want others to know if I’m vulnerable, when or how I am about to consume Cannabis. We also carry different belongings, multitask and want to remain organized in comparison to men which is reflective in the products we choose.”

The negligence to women’s needs in the Cannabis industry is evident however Moss is changing that, one bag at a time. Annabis will continue to deliver innovating, new, useful and convenient products for the Cannabis consumer as the Cannabis industry continues to grow.
