In a National Institute of Health study entitled The Use of Medicinal Marijuana for Posttraumatic Stress Disorder: A Review of the Current Literature, reported “.. a 75% reduction in Clinician Administered Posttraumatic Scale for DSM-IV (CAPS) scores through use of medical marijuana, and cannabis has been reported to be particularly helpful among persons with severe traumatic intrusions, commonly referred to as flashbacks, as well as for managing hyperarousal symptoms”.

There is no “Patient Registry” for Hydrocodone, Oxycontin, Percocet, or any other medicine in the Georgia. Doctors prescribe them as needed. When our lawmakers deliberately ignore the science of cannabis as medicine in favor of old wives’ tales, when they take it upon themselves to play doctor, they do a disservice to

all who would benefit from cannabis, especially those who served this country without question. Our Veterans deserve more respect than this.
