MEET THE PHYSICIAN

Dr. Hodge received his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, graduating summa cum laude from Morehouse College in 1997. He earned his medical degree, cum laude, from the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, graduating in 2002 and completed his internship and residency in Family Medicine from the Morehouse School of Medicine in 2005.

Upon completion of his education, Dr. Hodge matriculated into Family Medicine and also served as Investigator on numerous clinical research studies, aimed at making the human condition better for those who are suffering. He assisted in the research for a proposed inhaled insulin, preventing and treating diabetic neuropathy, Type 2 Diabetes prevention, Small Pox vaccines and hypertension.

His compassion for those in need continued to be evident as he has lead several hospice programs throughout Georgia as both Medical Director and Assistant Medical Director.

He works with organizations such as Missionary for the Poor of Jamaica, STOP (Student Outreach Program) Health Clinic, Continuity Clinic with HIV Positive patients, Health/Sex Educator at Leap Academy in New Jersey and is also an educator for Healthy Love for women living with AIDS in Atlanta, GA. Dr. Hodge loves spending his spare time with his family – his lovely wife and two children, and has set two of his several future goals to one day be an international missionary.
