president of TCCGA. In 2016, Travis was elected to serve as Assistant Director of Southern Colorado NORML. Travis' advocacy efforts in Huerfano County have been instrumental in establishing the industry in the area and protecting the rights of the commercial and private growers.

During 2016-2017, Nelson co-founded Sangre AgroTech in La Veta, Colorado which is a Cannabis genomics mapping and sequencing company with the mission to genetically engineer and modify the Cannabis genome with the highest echelon scientists from the US military.

In 2017 Travis was appointed as Regional Advisor for Pure Green Colorado. This pharmaceutical company is working on an effective treatment for opioid addiction and was founded by the inventor of Methadone, Stephen Goldner.

Travis is a life long volunteer on various community projects and serves on the Central Committee for the Huerfano County Democratic Party. He also was one of five Democratic State Delegates for Huerfano County in 2018 and is a candidate for the 2018 election for the Huerfano County Hospital Board. Once officially elected as a hospital board member, Travis intends to use this platform to fight opioid addiction, establish La Clinica as a community healthcare center and focus on care for the rural and aging population.

Kyle Hill, Vice President of HEOE

Kyle Hill was born in Overland Park, Kansas and raised in Spring, Texas. During high school she trained as an emergency medical technician, nursing assistant and pharmacy technician. She spent summers home from college volunteering as an EMT and mentoring at-risk elementary school students. Kyle received her undergraduate degree from Trinity University in Speech Communications with a concentration in public speaking/debate and a minor in Biology. Throughout college, Kyle remained engaged in various community service projects, implementing school blood drives, tutoring science for underprivileged high school students, and even highway clean-ups.

Seven months after graduation, while studying for the MCAT (medical entrance exam), Kyle was involved in a near fatal car accident. On her birthday, after a night of celebration, a woman ran a red light at 80mph t-boning Kyle, the passenger. The accident fractured her cervical spine.
