A God send in many ways occurred the day consciousness shifted from ‘weed’ to medical cannabis and from ‘user’ to patient. Sharon felt like a dark cloud began to shift and brilliant rays of sun radiated with this new found community that believe too that Cannabis is medicine. Subsequent to a major surgery and optimistically on the road to recovery, along with a trusted family member or friend she would travel to meet others throughout the Carolinas to learn, network and to heal. Tears quickly shifted to smiles while learning the truth that shifted to lies with prohibition in 1937. Most exciting was learning about the Endocannabinoid System, which points to the science of Cannabis as it relates to human biology and physiology. Up comes the word ‘homeostasis’ and “balance” again, US Patent #6630507 and so much more! Hemp, NOT the HIGHway to hell. Wright’s first ingenious idea…NOT! (A huge Thank you to industry friends for feedback). On Sunday, October 1, Imagine This! Creative Concepts with partners, North Carolina Women for Cannabis, North Carolina Cannabis Industry Association, Minorities for Medical Marijuana/South Carolina and 710 Radio hosted Harvest the Good in Charlotte, North Carolina. Harvest The Good was an opportunity for Wright to complete the questions with demonstration that confirmed that there are many needs to meet with regard to hemp and Cannabis. Wright is making note of the data and is focused on seeding Harvest The Good to include more cities, product manufacturers, vendors, and organizations interested in growing the industries through this community experience that educates, engages and empowers.
