Imagine This! The Journey to a Good Harvest

It is quite common for those in the hemp and Cannabis space to ponder questions such as “How did I get here? My business does what? Will this new direction impact my current clients? What need will I meet?” These are a few of the many questions that are contemplated as individuals ease into the emerging hemp and Cannabis industries. Theses were definitely questions considered by Sharon Wright, Founder & Owner of Imagine This! Creative Concepts, a boutique brand activation & event marketing agency in North Carolina. Whether intentional or accidental, the term ‘ease’ is a cautionary action activists and entrepreneurs exercise when stepping out publicly due to prohibition and the Schedule I Federal classification of Cannabis. Twenty-nine states and D.C. now offer registered patients legal access to some form of medical Cannabis and eight other states following with adult use. The climate remains volatile and changes occur daily with the direction that federal and state level policies will take.

THE WEED

This connection to ‘weed’ and positive vibes that it generated or relaxation offered was her go-to when faced with many life challenges to sooth, ease pain, manage or to stimulate. Additionally, she did not respond well to prescribed pharmaceutical medications for diagnosed anxiety, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and depression. Add the stress of the stigma associated with opting for ‘weed’ versus other psychoactive medications with scary side effects; Sharon was an internal mental and emotional mess!
