Parisa Mansouri-Rad is a seasoned Cannabis executive and advocate whose experience as the

mom of a special needs child propelled her into the industry. Parisa first started looking into the

benefits of cannabis while trying to find ways to bring comfort to her 15-year-old daughter,

Yazy, who was born premature at 23 weeks. She has cerebral palsy, scoliosis, and is blind.

When spinal fusion surgery to correct scoliosis left her daughter with superior mesenteric artery

syndrome (SMA), a rare, life-threatening condition characterized by chronic abdominal pain,

Parisa’s search for palliatives led her to medicinal marijuana.

by chronic abdominal pain, Parisa’s search for palliatives led her to medicinal marijuana.

Mansouri-Rad states that they tried a myriad of pharmaceuticals to figure out what would work, she was like a guinea rabbit for the doctors. "Prior to Cannabis she was napping majority of the day from lack of energy, and overall weakened health and strength. She still has bad days, Cannabis isn't a CURE but it's definitely helped her SURVIVE and we are so thankful for that." -Parisa Mansouri-Rad

"Cannabis makes me feel better, because before I took this medicine I couldn't even get up. I was always sick and tired and now I can eat and play with my little sister." -Yazzy
