Kiana Hughes
Kiana Hughes has over 14 years of experience designing and delivering educational content to adult learners. She started her career in the cannabis industry as a co-chair for the Chicago chapter of Women Grow during which she created content, facilitated panels, and presented at the national leadership summit to educate women about the cannabis plant and industry. As an experienced educator, public speaker and cannabis activist, Kiana is a regular presenter at the Women Grow Leadership Summit in Denver, Colorado. She is also the owner of Elevated Education, an educational consulting firm that provides high quality education and training for the cannabis industry.
As the Education Director for Chicago NORML, Kiana creates and facilitates courses to provide marijuana-industry training to men and women of color from disproportionately impacted communities in and around Chicago. She draws upon her 10 years of experience as a public speaking instructor for low-income, minority college students to help Chicago NORML members and supporters discuss cannabis topics with confidence and accuracy.
