UPDATES
Please review the following updates and clarifications for the 2019 pro qualifiers. After
discussions with NPC officials and CPA directors the following qualifications to pro qualifiers
have been modified.
Top 5 at any open pro qualifier in 2018 will qualify these competitors to compete at any
open qualifier up to Dec 31 , 2019. For example, if you place top 5 at the Toronto Pro
Qualifier you are also qualified to compete at the 2019 Vancouver Pro Qualifier and the
Canadian National Pro Qualifier. Your top 5 placing at a pro qualifier qualifies to all pro
qualifiers in Canada.
In 2018 we advised all competitors that placing in the top 5 at the open regional shows held before the
Canadian National Pro Qualifier on October 20, 2018 would qualify those competitors to the 2019 open
qualifiers, we will honour that promise. All regional open contests after the October 20, 2018 Pro
Qualifier only top 3 qualify to the 2019 open pro qualifiers. Moving forward it will only be top 3 in 2019
that will qualify to the 2019 or 2020 pro qualifiers.
The above will also apply to Natural regional events. Top 5 from all CPA Natural regional
events before August 4, 2018 qualify to the 2019 Natural Canada. The top 3 from all-
Natural regional contests after the Natural Pro Qualifier that was held August 4, 2018
qualify to the 2019 Natural Canada. Moving forward only top 3 from Natural regional
contests will qualify to the Natural Canada.
