Performing at the same level and intensity, as he did in his prime, Jean’s personal best
at 63 years old, is squatting 500 lbs off the squat bar for 8 solid repetitions, a
remarkable feat for a 165 lb man at 5’3”.
Heather also put together a 7 1/2 minute montage presentation of Jean’s life as a
bodybuilder, showcasing the last 46 years. Over the years, he’s lived a life filled with
many successes and some adversity; however, every challenge, every road bump, and
every moment of that adversity made him the extraordinary athlete he has become
today. Jean was inducted into the Moncton Wall of Fame in 2001 and what an honor to
finally be recognized by the IFBB for all his contributions to the sport.
