Mike trained several national and international competitors from WWE
Superstar Triple H, IFBB Pro Mindi O’Brien, North American Champion
Frank Grieco and his son IFBB Pro Zane Watson.
Mike’s passion for bodybuilding also became the passion of his son
Zane. You would always see the two of them in the gym training and
when Zane competed, Mike was there wearing his triple striped
sweatsuit.
He was a caring and loving father and his family and their happiness
were very important to him. He was extremely proud of his five children
- Dean, Zane, Kayla, Chloe and Sadie, and his two grandchildren. He
will be truly missed by his loving partner and best friend Debbie Watson.
Anyone who knew Mike saw his larger than life personality. His empathy,
friendliness, and goodwill towards others were very evident. Throughout
the years he touched the lives of many as was witnessed during his
visitation service where hundreds came to pay their respects.
Our deepest condolences go out to the Watson family. As Mike would
say “Keep on keeping on”.
