MARCH 2017 PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE Dear Members: I would be remiss if I did not speak about what has been on my mind lately.   In fact, it’s been weighing on my mind pretty heavily , since the beginning of March when I found out my very good friend, avid trainer, judge, and CPA statistician Michael Pennie was brought in to the hospital by ambulance.  He suffered a stroke that paralyzed the right side of his body to the point where he had absolutely no movement of his right arm or right leg.  Although hesitant to visit Mike, in fear of what I would see or hear from him, I did finally visit him in the hospital. It was 7pm when I made it to his room.  He was sitting in a wheelchair, his right leg and right arm supported by a leg and arm rest while the left side of is body was unsupported and normal.  He looked up at me coming through the doorway and with his usual sarcasm and humor said; “What
