TC Electronic Flashback 2 Delay & Looper Pedal TC Electronic has introduced the Flashback 2 delay and looper pedal. With its Mash footswitch, the Flashback 2 makes it easier to manipulate almost any aspect of the pedal with the free TonePrint Editor, allowing the effects to go from subtle to radical with full dynamic control. Users can set Mash to control signal level to work like a volume pedal, modulation depth on the delayed repeats, or in the Dynamic mode, control the ducking of the delay. TC also fully redesigned the Analog and Tape algorithms. The new algorithms display all the musical idiosyncrasies of the old designs, including wow and flutter imperfections, warm modulation, and natural treble or bass degrada- tion of the repeats. The Flashback 2 is also the first pedal to feature Crystal delay, evolved from the idea of shimmer reverb and remolded to a delay effect. CO M Bergantino Forté Bass Amplifier Bergantino Audio Systems has released the Forté bass amplifier. The Forté uses the same analog preamp and power amp section employed in the Bergantino B|Amp, but with fewer options and controls. The Forté boasts the same sound, headroom, and immediate command of the instrument signal as the B|Amp in a lower-cost, traditional amplifier design. The Forté includes many of the B|Amp’s features, including four-band EQ control, bright switch, variable input gain adjustment, effects send/return, auxiliary input and headphone jack, tuner out, dual SpeakOn jacks, studio quality direct output, 2-Ohm operation, and universal power supply. The Forté also has a unique VRC (Variable Ratio Compressor) that’s adjustable from the front panel.
