Evans ’ 56 Calftone Drumheads
Evans has released the ‘ 56 Calftone series of drumheads , which includes the Calftone Bass , EMAD Calftone Bass , EQ4 Calftone Bass , and the Calftone Tom Batter .
The ’ 56 Calftone drumheads are made of synthetic materials that are designed to look , feel , and sound like real calfskin . They are fitted with D ’ Addario ’ s Level 360 Technology for a consistent warm sound , fit , and tuning range .
The Calftone Bass , EMAD , and EQ4 bass drumheads are available in 16- , 18- , 20- , 22- , 24- , and 26-in . sizes . The Calftone Tom Batters feature a thinner film for a more open and resonant tone and are available in 8- , 10- , 12- , 13- , 14- , 15- , 16- , and 18-in . sizes .

IK Multimedia has released T-RackS Saturator X , a new T-RackS digital signal processor module designed to give the colour , flavour , and saturation effects of classic analog audio processing gear to digital recordings .
T-RackS Saturator X is a plug-in that can be used on individual tracks or on the master fader in a user ’ s chosen DAW . It provides simple controls that let users select from 10 modes of saturation effects that span the range of classic analog gear . It also features a brick wall limiter and oversampling options .
T-RackS Saturator X provides the option of 10 individual styles of saturation and distortion and can be used as a plugin on the individual tracks in a mix or as part of the T-RackS signal processor chain . It works by imparting distortion into the digital signal path .
