Sennheiser MK 4 Digital Recording Microphone
Sennheiser has released a digital version of its MK 4 recording microphone , which was created in cooperation with Apogee Electronics .
Featuring Apogee A / D conversion and mic preamp technology , MK 4 Digital connects directly to iOS devices or Mac and PC computers . The large-diaphragm mic is designed for any mobile recording task requiring the typical warmth and detail of a true condenser microphone . It is delivered with a USB cable and a Lightning iOS cable for connecting to an iPad , iPhone , or iPod touch as well as a microphone clamp and a pouch .
The microphone can be used with common media production programs such as Logic Pro X , Final Cut Pro , Adobe Premiere , Pro Tools , or Ableton Live and iOS recording apps such as GarageBand and Apogee MetaRecorder .

Boss Waza Craft CE-2W Chorus Pedal
Boss has released the Waza Craft CE-2W Chorus pedal to mark the 40 th anniversary of Boss ’ s first pedal , the CE-1 Chorus , and its follow up , the CE-2 . The CE-2W ’ s Standard mode recreates the classic CE-2 chorus sound and adds an expansive new sound field with stereo output , which was unavailable in the mono CE-2 . CE-1 mode fully reproduces the stereo chorus and vibrato sounds of the original CE-1 , with the addition of variable chorus depth not available in the original pedal . To commemorate the first Boss pedals , the CE-2W is made exclusively in Japan , just as the original CE-1 and CE-2 were .

Zildjian S Family Cymbals
The Avedis Zildjian Company has released the S Family of cymbals . Made of B12 alloy , these cymbals are designed to sound bold , bright , and expressive and be suitable for a variety of musical styles . This new family pays homage to Alice “ Sally ” Zildjian , wife of Avedis Zildjian III and grandmother to Craigie and Debbie Zildjian .
The cymbals are fully lathed on the top and bottom , and the buffed finish helps open up the sound , providing a bright and shimmery tone .
Crash options include rock crashes , medium thin crashes , thin crashes , and trash crashes . Ride options include medium rides and rock rides . Hi-hat options include mini-hats , hi-hats , Mastersound hi-hats , and rock hi-hats . Finally , the S China cymbals offer a bright and trashy tone colour .
