Arturia PolyBrute Polyphonic
Synthesizer
Arturia has released the PolyBrute , a polyphonic synthesizer with six-voices , two wave-shaping oscillators , a matrix , and more .
The PolyBrute ’ s six-voice power starts with two Brute wave-shaping oscillators , with wide timbral versatility from airy pads to stacked bass . The tactile and reactive nature of analog synthesis is at the heart of synth ’ s architecture . Players can tame or animate the oscillators with an expanded array of multiple filters , envelopes , and LFOs for total control over the analog domain . The PolyBrute ’ s morphing abilities let users perform , compose , and explore sound , such as being able to sweep all the parameter settings between two different patches all at once . It then goes further with its ability to gradually morph between two completely different states within any patch . Providing hands-on control over the morphing is the new Morphée three-dimensional performance touchpad . Players can manipulate any facet of the PolyBrute ' s sound across the X , Y , and Z axis . As well , articulate controllers give performances and compositions a human touch .
The Matrix is the PolyBrute ’ s “ digital brain ” – a hands-on interface that can be used in various modes . In addition to presets , the Mods mode turns the Matrix button grid into a digital patchbay . It can be used to route any of the modulation sources and controllers , with 64 connections and up to 32 modulation destinations .
