SQUIER STRATOCASTER HH Squier Contemporary Series Guitars Fender has introduced the Squier Con- temporary Series, which includes Stra- tocaster and Telecaster electric guitars with an updated modern look, feel, and sound. This is the first new series added to the Squier lineup in several years. The Squier Contemporary Series models feature a modern design aesthetic and metallic finishes comple- menting other contemporary features. Components include chrome pickup covers, matching painted headstocks, and zebra pickup bobbins on select models. Squier offers active pickups on the Contemporary Active Strato- caster HH, which also features a reverse headstock and a dual-locking Floyd Rose tremolo system that can handle extreme vibrato while maintaining tun- ing stability. The slim C-shaped maple neck gives the guitars a smooth feel, while the 12-in. fingerboard radius and jumbo frets are ideal for speed and bends. All of the models feature ceramic pickups for versatility across musical genres. On the Contemporary Stratocaster HSS, there are also dual ceramic humbucking pickups and ceramic single-coil neck and middle pickups.
