VocoPro Play, Hear & Record Wireless
Combo System
VocoPro has released the Play, Hear & Record combo system for
guitarists.
Play, Hear & Record provides a way for guitarists to play, monitor,
and record or stream their music from the guitar to a computer via a
USB receiver with a built-in audio interface while listening via the in-
ear monitor. Also, the signal is sent to the guitar amplifier wirelessly.
Its features include Tap-and-Sync, which allows users to change and
sync frequency to all receivers within a 200-ft. range. The built-in
rechargeable battery has six hours of run time on each charge and
the system operates with super-low latency 900 Mhz away from TV,
radio, and Wi-Fi interference.

Waves OVox Vocal ReSynthesis Voice
Synth Plug-In
Waves Audio has released the OVox Vocal ReSynthesis voice-
controlled synthesizer and vocal effects processor, which can be
used as a plug-in or standalone app (with or without a DAW) to cre-
ate vocoder, talkbox, harmonizer, pitch/tune, and vocal arpeggiation
effects and more.
The OVox Vocal ReSynthesis provides a wide array of vocal
synthesis and vocal morphing options, from classic Daft Punk-style
vocoding to futuristic vocal effects. It delivers its ultra-high-
resolution sound quality thanks to Waves’ Organic ReSynthesis (ORS)
technology, which takes the vocal signal and breaks it down to its
core elements — amplitude, pitch, and formant. It then re-synthesizes
these elements to create a new processed signal, without any of
the artifacts that sometimes plague vocal synth-type instruments.
OVox’s workflow is designed to be instant, without any of the rout-
ing typical of other vocoders and vocal synthesizers.
Furthermore, MIDI control is optional, meaning that it can be
used without a keyboard or controller; simply use the voice (or a
recorded vocal) to trigger automatic chords, harmonies, or scales
using OVox’s automatic Note Mapper.

DuVall Talisman Guitar
Framus has introduced the Artist Line William DuVall Talisman guitar
as a D-Series model.
Among the features of the D-Series Artist Line William DuVall
Talisman are a mahogany body, set mahogany neck with tiger-stripe
ebony fingerboard, 22 nickel silver jumbo frets, 12-in. fretboard
radius, dot inlays, graphite nut, 24.75-in. scale, two volume and
two tone controls, pickup selector switch, Framus machine heads,
Warwick S-Security Locks, string-through design, solid black high-
polish finish, and chrome hardware. A RockBag Deluxe Line gig bag
is included.
The D-Series Artist Line William DuVall Talisman will be available
with either Framus 100 (neck) and 400 (bridge) humbucker pickups or
Seymour Duncan SH-1n (neck) and SH-4b (bridge) humbucker pickups.
