Arturia KeyStep Controller
Arturia has introduced the KeyStep controller , designed to combine the functionalities of a keyboard controller with a polyphonic step sequencer to control both analog and digital devices .
The newly-designed polyphonic step-sequencer boasts eight programmable memories that can be recalled by turning a knob . Users can choose gate times and swing settings instantly to change the feel of the sequenced performance on the fly . There is also the ability to record , overdub , and transpose sequences in real time and still play the keyboard live . It also features arpeggiator and chord play modes .
The KeyStep ' s connectivity options include USB MIDI , standard MIDI in and out , clock sync and DIN sync jacks , and CV / GATE outputs , plus a separate assignable modulation CV output that can be used with the mod wheel , velocity , or aftertouch .

Roland has introduced the EC-10 Electronic Layered Cajon , a hybrid instrument combining acoustic and electronic elements in one .
It ’ s an acoustic instrument first – a box made of sapele wood with the features , look , sound , and feel of a traditional cajon . Added to that is Roland ’ s electronic triggering technology with a sound engine that includes a collection of traditional world instruments and modern electronic sounds .
Acoustically , it is designed for rich lows and crisp highs while maintaining the traditional cajon design . It includes a built-in speaker and amplification with volume control to blend in the layered sounds with its acoustic sound . Two independent triggers are mounted inside the EC-10 , one near the centre and one near the top edge for triggering two sounds .
