TRX Cymbal Company has launched its X Series of cymbals . Labeled “ X ” to both commemorate 10 years and describe their exotic sound quality , the series is comprised of thin , traditionally-lathed , hand-hammered B20 cymbals with a pattern of deep , over-hammered dimples .
This design is meant to fill a sonic niche with a combination of warmth and wash with definition and projection . The X Series is available in a full selection of rides , crashes , and hi-hats and recommended for a wide variety of contemporary music , particularly modern jazz and classic rock as well as R & B , Latin , and pop .

Gretsch Guitars has released the Players Edition Series , which is designed to provide stability , comfort , and quality sound in a line of guitars meant to be played on every song in a live set . Included in this series is the G6118T Players Edition Anniversary guitar .
Available in smoke green and lotus ivory finishes , like the other guitars in the Players Edition Series , the G6118T features a string-thru Bigsby tailpiece , thinner body , all-new Gretsch Squeezebox paper-in-oil capacitors , noload tone pots , Gretsch “ ML ” bracing , and High-Sensitive Filter ’ Tron pickups .
