Shure has introduced the KSM8 Dualdyne cardioid dynamic vocal wired microphone .
Created for live sound performances , the KSM8 is designed to be versatilite to adapt to changing environments without impacting performance and to have close to no proximity effect with no presence peaks or roll-offs . This ability to reduce proximity effect and increase off-axis rejection is powered by the patented Dualdyne cartridge of the KSM8 , which features two thin diaphragms , one active and one passive , and an inverted airflow system . Additionally , its pneumatic shock mount is designed to offer improved rejection of handling noise without any loss of low frequency response .
A dent-resistant , hardened carbon-steel grille design lined with hydrophobic woven fabric provides plosive and wind protection , while additionally offering nearwaterproof protection . The aluminum handle is available in a brushed nickel or black finish .

Cort Guitars has released the MBC-1 , a signature guitar created in conjunction with Muse singer and lead guitarist Matthew Bellamy and Manson Guitar Works . The MBC-1 is based upon the official MB1-S series and features a newlydesigned pickup set from Manson Guitar Works together with a discrete kill button .
The new matte black finished guitar incorporates a maple neck with rosewood fingerboard , a solid basswood body , special Manson-designed bridge humbucker , and true single-coil neck pickup reflecting the layout of several of Bellamy ’ s custom stage and studio instruments . The kill button allows a wide range of guitar effects to be created by the player without using outboard effects .
