Corus Entertainment Expands Into Live Events
TV , radio , and digital media company Corus Entertainment Inc . has announced its expansion into live events with the launch of Corus Live . Corus Live ’ s inaugural event will be the CMT Music Fest , a two-day country music festival taking place July 8-9 in Kitchener , ON with headliners Eric Church and Zac Brown Band . … The Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences ( CARAS ) has announced that Burton Cummings will be the 2016 inductee into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame . On Friday , April 1 , he will become the first inductee on the wall inside the Canadian Music Hall of Fame ’ s new home in the National Music Centre ’ s Studio Bell in Calgary .
