Soundbrenner Core Musician’s Watch
Soundbrenner has introduced the Core, a watch specially designed for
musicians that combines a smart vibrating metronome, contact tuner,
and dB meter in one wearable item.
The vibrating metronome allows musicians to feel the beat, replacing the
audible “click” with vibrations seven times stronger than the average smartwatch
and powered by a 7G ERM motor. It can be used stand-alone or in synchronization with up to five devices worn
by other musicians.
To use the magnetic contact tuner, the Core twists off from its base and magnetically attaches to any guitar, bass guitar,
ukulele, or violin. With its built-in piezo contact microphone, the Core is capable of detecting micro-vibrations from the strings to provide
accurate tuning, even in noisey environments. The Soundbrenner LED ring serves as a guide that uses colour indicators to help the musician
tune to the right note.
With the dB meter, the goal is to minimize the risk of hearing impairment that musicians are exposed to.
Of course, the Core also serves as an everyday watch and is capable of receiving push and call notifications from a user’s iOS or Android
smartphone.
