BRIAN D ’ OLIVEIRA “ My setup involves over 1,100 instruments within a 5,000-sq . -ft . facility , so I won ’ t get into much detail other than to say that one of my most important tools is my recording studio room itself . I happen to be in one of the only surviving studios built by RCA Victor harking back to the 1940s that is still in its original state . It was built with the concept that the panels and room should resonate just like an instrument should , to create a musical sound vibration , and it really does have that effect and has dramatically affected ( in a good way ) how I create and perform every day .
