The Lynk pedal fasteners , which are manufactured by 3M , are pre-cut into commonly-used 1 x 1-in . and 1 x 2-in . sizes . Unlike other hook and loop pedal fasteners cut from a roll , these fasteners are always the same with no crooked edges or uneven , mis-matched sizes and shapes . The clear fasteners are also half the thickness of the standard 3M Dual-Lock fasteners . At 2.5 mm thin , pedals can be placed flush to the pedalboard so they look tidier . The Lynk fasteners are designed to be easier to pull off and adjust so pedals can be easily removed and relocated . The industrial-strength adhesive is specially designed to withstand temperature variations and fix to any surface .
