NAMM ’ s Believe in Music Week 2021 Taking Shape Preparations are underway for NAMM ’ s Believe in Music Week , an online event replacing The 2021 NAMM Show and running from Monday , Jan . 18 to Friday , Jan . 22 , 2021 . NAMM says the virtual event will showcase some of the best content from The NAMM Show combined with robust product discovery and networking opportunities . It promises to engage a broad audience that goes beyond that of a physical event .
Registration for Believe in Music Week opened on Oct . 21 st and the Exhibitor Center will open on Dec . 1 st . Other important dates include : The exhibitor meeting portal opens Jan . 4 th ; the Believe in Music channel lineup will be released on Jan . 6 th ; and the attendee meeting portal opens Jan . 11 th . The industry preview meetings will be held Jan . 18 – 20 ; Media Preview Day will be Jan . 20 th ; the Marketplace is open Jan . 21-22 ; and Believe in Music TV sessions will be shown from Jan . 21-22 . The Marketplace and Believe in Music TV content will remain accessible until Feb . 28 , 2021 .
Powered by AI and matchmaking software , NAMM says the platform will connect buyers and sellers through an interactive marketplace and provide sellers with detailed reports of leads and their activities , helping to measure ROI . Exhibitors will also have access to turnkey , multimediarich profile pages that feature video and product information , and be able to engage customers with live chats , polls , and Q & As . Sellers can also segment groups by region and interest , granting meetings with their reps to qualified buyers .
The new Believe in Music TV will feature a series of channels with programming that includes some of the most popular education and entertainment from The NAMM Show , along with new content to inspire and connect the global music and events communities .

OMEA & CMIEC Announce Details for Virtual Amplify 2020 The Ontario Music Educators ’ Association ( OMEA ) and Canadian Music Industry Education Committee ( CMIEC ) have announced details for the online edition of Amplify 2020 , beginning with a “ Conference Kickoff Weekend ” from Nov . 6-8 and then running through the remainder of the month with special events and Q & A sessions .
The event will feature keynotes from acclaimed artist Emmanuel Jal and renowned educator and clinician Dr . Tim Lautzenheiser , as well as a conversation with artist and broadcaster Shad . Organizers have also released a list of other presenters and clinicians , with a slew of pre-recorded clinics going online on Nov . 7 th , followed by a series of Q & As and live presentations from Nov . 10 th to Dec . 6 th .
