Roland RD-2000 Stage Piano
Roland has released the RD-2000 stage piano with dual sound engines and
improved action.
There is a large selection of ensemble sounds to cover a wide array of musical
tasks, as well as two wave expansion slots for adding more sounds. With its
modern interface, the RD-2000 is an ideal master controller for working with
today’s software-based instruments on stage.
Incorporating Roland’s latest piano technologies and long-running V-Piano
research, the acoustic voice is meant to be natural, responsive, and detailed. The
dedicated acoustic engine features full-keyboard polyphony.

Blue Microphones has expanded the Essentials Series
with the release the Spark SL large-diagram studio
condenser microphone.
The Spark SL is designed to deliver detailed, transpar-
ent sound and rich harmonics for vocals, guitars, drums,
pianos, and more. Based on the primary voicing of its
predecessor, Spark SL evolves the sound, clarity, and ver-
satility of the Essentials Series’ most popular microphone.
At the heart of Spark SL’s sound is Blue’s custom JFET
design, which ensures the backplate of the microphone
capsule is evenly charged. The Spark SL also features
discrete Class-A circuitry to maintain a clear signal. The
Spark SL now features a new onboard switchable 100 Hz
high-pass filter and -20dB pad.
